From childhood’s hour I have not been
As others were—I have not seen
As others saw—I could not bring
My passions from a common spring—
From the same source I have not taken
My sorrow—I could not awaken
My heart to joy at the same tone—
And all I lov’d—I lov’d alone—
Then—in my childhood—in the dawn
Of a most stormy life—was drawn
From ev’ry depth of good and ill
The mystery which binds me still—
From the torrent, or the fountain—
From the red cliff of the mountain—
From the sun that ’round me roll’d
In its autumn tint of gold—
From the lightning in the sky
As it pass’d me flying by—
From the thunder, and the storm—
And the cloud that took the form
(When the rest of Heaven was blue)
Of a demon in my view—

[ To which, he pulls a tin out from his pocket and opens it up, showing off the various capsules neatly tucked inside. ]
They can carry pretty much anything. Clothes, appliances, vehicles. You name it.
action;
The clothes, appliances and vehicles must be quite small for them to fit.
action;
[ Picking one of them, he clicks the top before he tosses it off to the side and, with a puff of smoke, a champagne coloured suit appears in Trunks' size, complete with tie and glasses tucked in the breast pocket. ]
That's one of my suits.
action;
Do they operate on...magic? (i.e. some power he cannot define.) They defy the parameters of physics.
(On a lighter note...)
You have fine taste in clothing.
action;
It's a sort of advanced technology.
[ Though he pauses a bit and picks his suit up off the floor, neatly brushing a hand over the jacket's front before he goes to set it down on a chair at the table. ]
It definitely comes in handy for bigger things.
action;
I would like to see it devour a carriage.
(Is that how it works? He grins.)
Can it hold a ship?
action;
[ They've held a time machine before and that was... pretty big. ]
But I don't see why not.
[ Taking a seat on one of the chairs at the table, he smiles to Ciel. ]
We also build and design ships ourselves among other things, too.
action;
I take it if the ship is larger than a car, you would have difficulties?
(Capsule Corp is right up his alley.)
Are you planning on introducing your technology to Empatheias?
action;
[ Smiling at the cup of tea offered to him, he nods his thanks before he comes to gently blow on it for a moment, a sip taken shortly after. ]
As for introducing the tech here, I don't think it's really possible since the tech itself isn't really here. The labs, engineers, machines and tools used for it all. The only reason I even have these capsules with me is because they were on me when I returned here. To replicate that sort of technology here with the current type this world has is... well, it'd be difficult.
[ Look at him sounding like the head of his company and all... ]
action;
(He mixes sugar into his own cup of tea, using a delicate silver spoon.)
Then I suggest you put your capsules to good use. (It is a shame there won't be more, but it can't be helped.) You have changed.
(He gives Trunks a small, understanding smile.)
It's not as much fun being this way, but it is necessary.
action;
Yeah, sorta comes with the whole growing up thing.
[ And yet, he can clearly remember his time here when he was younger. It's... still a little strange, to be honest. ]
But I'm really glad you're still here and haven't done too much changing yourself.
action;
A grown body doesn't ensure a mature mind.
(Trunks clearly has both and the small Earl is impressed.)
I feel I have changed, but for the better. There is far less on my mind (and conscience) here.
action;
[ Curious about that, he sips at his tea a little, recalling that they haven't really spoken much about him and his world aside from some nobility mentions. ]
action;
action;
Ciel, I... i'm sorry.
[ He frowns, looking down to his tea. ]
action;
There is nothing you should apologize for, Trunks.
action;
It's just... it's not easy... having to deal with that sort of loss.
[ Speaking from experience. ]
action;
I don't think it should be. (He sets his tea cup down.) I saw them buried and the manor rebuilt.
action;
Did this... happen right before you came here to this world?
action;
Though it is.)No. Four - five if you count my time here - years ago. On my tenth birthday.
action;
I'm guessing you don't really celebrate those anymore...
action;
action;
You know, if I ever get my own place here, you should stop by to visit sometime since you're always inviting me over here.
action;
If you need help finding a place, I can ensure you are given a fair deal.
(Ciel can play rough. Politically and socially speaking.)
action;
I'm staying with my mom right now but, well... being older and all, I'd kinda like a place for myself.
[ Though he wouldn't mind staying close to her in case anything happens and he's needed there quickly. ]
But with how tensions are right now... it's probably best I wait a little.
